SCOPE: Wireframes, User Testing, Final Graphic Assets
DETAILS: Different from Google Maps, I wanted the traffic condition lines to be transparent so you could still see street names underneath.
Other details:
- Legend could be minimized in order to optimize map viewing
- Incidents and Construction markers were NOT visible by default in order to reduce clutter, and could be turned on/off in the legend
- To reduce map latency, the traffic data only refreshed every 5 minutes. Thus a "Refresh" link was provided to get up to the moment data.
- Incidents and Construction markers popped up detail boxes if the user wanted more details.
